Dental & clinics ยท Raleigh, NC
Dental websites that turn searches into appointments.
Patients choosing a dentist compare a few practices on their phone, then call or book the one that looks credible and easy. Raleigh Tech Lab builds dental and clinic websites that are fast, accessible and make requesting an appointment simple.
What we found
We tested 179 North Carolina dental websites.
More than a third scored Poor on Google's mobile speed test. For a practice, that's a prospective patient giving up on a page before they ever see your services or your request form.
How we measured: our own audit tool ran Google PageSpeed Insights (Lighthouse, mobile) and a schema.org business-markup check on 179 websites of North Carolina dental practices found through public business listings, September–October 2026. Google rates a score of 90+ as Good and under 50 as Poor. Totals only; no business is named.
What it takes
What a dental practice website needs.
Patients want to know you take their insurance, that you do what they need, and that booking is easy.
Requests that are easy and careful
General contact forms and email aren't built for health information, so request forms ask only for contact details and a preferred time. For full online booking, connect a scheduling tool designed for dental and medical practices.
New-patient and insurance info
Insurance accepted, payment options and what to bring: the questions patients ask before they ever call.
A clear page for each service
Cleanings, whitening, implants, emergencies. Each with plain answers to the questions patients actually ask.
Real dentists, real credentials
Photos and short bios of your dentists and team, with their qualifications. People choose a person, not a logo.
Accessible to every patient
Readable text, strong contrast, and pages that work with screen readers and keyboards, for patients of every age.
Dentist markup
Structured data for your practice type, hours, location and services, so search engines and AI assistants describe you correctly.
FAQ
Dental website questions.
Can patients book dental appointments online?
Yes. The Business Site + Booking package adds appointment request forms that ask only for a name, contact details and a preferred time. If you want patients to choose a time slot directly, the site can connect to a scheduling tool built for dental and medical practices instead of using a general form.
Is a website contact form safe for patient information?
A general contact form or email isn't the right place for health details such as symptoms, treatment history or insurance numbers. Keep request forms to contact details and a preferred time, and handle anything clinical by phone or in a system designed for patient information. This isn't legal advice, so check your own HIPAA obligations.
What pages should a dental practice website have?
At least: your services, new-patient information, insurance and payment options, your team with their credentials, location and hours, and a clear way to request an appointment. Each service, such as cleanings or implants, works best on its own page with plain answers to the questions patients actually ask.
Does website speed matter for a dental practice?
Yes. Most patients look you up on a phone, and a slow page loses them before it loads. Of the 179 North Carolina dental websites we tested, 35% scored Poor on Google's mobile speed test and only 8% reached the Good range of 90 or above.
